Amanda Fa'onelua

Biography

Amanda Fa’onelua serves as an Instructor of the Practice of Mathematics, Coordinator of Concurrent Enrollment Math, and Director of UT PREP. She is passionate about making mathematics meaningful for students by creating opportunities to apply concepts in ways that connect to their lives and future goals. With nearly two decades in education, Fa’onelua is dedicated to fostering confidence and curiosity in every student she teaches.

Previous Teaching

Fa’onelua has 17 years of experience teaching secondary mathematics, from 7th grade through AP Calculus.

3 years teaching undergraduate mathematics, including MATH 980, MATH 1010, and MATH 1030.
